- 60g butter
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 150ml milk
- 250 ml Tuk Tuk Chai Aromatic Cardamom Chai
For the rose cream
- Double cream
- Rose syrup
- Pitaya powder
Method:
- Mix up the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Mix up the wet ingredients
- Combine! +whisk out any lumps
- Grease a non stick pan with a little butter
- Ladle batter onto the pan, cook until the base is golden and the top is starting to bubble
- Flip and voila
For the rose cream:
- Use cold double cream from the fridge and add rose syrup and pitaya powder to get that rosy pink.
- Use a metal bowl if possible and leave it in the fridge before using to make it easier to whip the cream
- You can add sugar and vanilla to make the cream sweet but the rose syrup gave us enough sweetness and flavour
- Whip until the cream forms stiff peaks, but don’t over whip otherwise it’ll all go soft again
- Decorate and enjoy!
